CTL’s TVA™ Suite

The Target Cell Visualization Assay (TVA™) Suite is a high-throughput cell counting application designed to measure the lysis of fluorescence-labelled target cells in a 96-well or Terasaki plate formats. Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), Natural Killer (NK)- or CD8+ T cell-mediated lysis can be measured this way. TVA was proven to have equal sensitivity with the traditional Chromium 51-release assays [ref], however without involving radioactivity. In a multi-color variant of TVA, the lysis of several target cells, each loaded with different dies, can be tested simultaneously.
