Optical Resolution of ImmunoSpot® Readers

All ImmunoSpot® Readers have a resolution sufficient to detect single cells while capturing the entire bottom of a 96 well plate. Therefore, all of our fluorescence-capable readers are suited for, e.g., live/dead cell counting.

Some ImmunoSpot® models have zoom lenses that enable microscopic imaging.
An example is provided here:

Images of HeLa cells, fixed and stained with Trypan Blue are provided. There is detailed information on cell morphology and nuclear information when zoomed in images are viewed.
