Position Description:
We are a well-established market leader in the immune monitoring field and we are seeking a talented individual to become an integral part of our growing Post-Sales Support Team. If you possess a strong technical aptitude, are mechanically and electronically inclined, and excel in a team environment, we are looking for you. The Technical Support Specialist I (TSS-1) will work closely with our other technicians, our Customer Service team, and other cross functional teams to help ensure customer satisfaction with our specialized instrumentation and systems.

The TSS-1 will:
  • Install, service and support our systems, software and products remotely and at the customer site
  • Train our customers on our systems, software and products
  • Investigate customer issues and help find appropriate solutions
  • Test, validate and qualify our products before they are shipped to our customers
  • Troubleshoot computer, electronics and mechanical equipment
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possess a positive customer relationship management focus
  • Log all pertinent client information regarding support calls and outcomes into ticketing system
  • Be able to listen, comprehend, effectively question and interact with a customer as well as handle potentially difficult customers
  • Approach assigned duties with a sense of ownership and dedication
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Experience interacting directly and frequently with customers
  • At least two years’ training and/or experience in a technical support environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rewarding environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel
